Vehicle-specific forged wheels built around brake clearance, offset, load requirement, tyre choice and stance. Weight is reduced where the load case allows, then verified against the car before machining. Forged wheels built around your car. Fitment, load and finish confirmed before machining.
Founder’s note: an engineer and lifelong car enthusiast who built precision components for Rolls-Royce Marine and the SAF before he ever made a wheel.
LFI is a Singapore custom forged wheel specialist based at 76 Playfair Road, building vehicle-specific forged wheels around brake clearance, offset, load rating, stance and weight reduction.
LFI builds made-to-measure forged wheels — not off-the-shelf rims. Every set is machined to the car, not pulled from a shelf.
Area: Tai Seng / Playfair Road industrial precinct, near MacPherson, Aljunied, Kaki Bukit and Paya Lebar.
Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 10:00 AM–6:00 PM. Tuesday and Saturday by appointment. Sunday closed.

Choose the collection that matches your priority — track response, EV load capacity, magnesium weight reduction, deep-lip presence, or a Founder Edition project built around your car.
Reserved for customers who want the most involved LFI process — design direction, fitment planning, finish consultation and a more personal build discussion from start to finish. Best for special cars, serious projects and one-off wheel directions.
The core LFI forged-wheel range for BMW M, Porsche, Mercedes-AMG, Audi RS, Toyota GR, Subaru, MINI and fast-road builds. Lightweight, direct-fit and engineered around the car.
Built for the weight, torque and brake demands of modern electric cars. EV fitment needs more than a nice face — up to 1050kg load rating, offset accuracy, weight control and range efficiency all matter.
For customers chasing the next step beyond aluminium. Magnesium is for builds where every kilogram matters and race on the same wheel type as Formula One cars.
For deep-lip, show-focused and fitment-led builds where visual depth is the priority. We use 2PC construction when the look calls for it — not as a shortcut for performance wheels.
Every build below is a recorded LFI customer specification. No stock photos. No blank-background renders. Just real cars with real fitment data.
Brock wanted lightweight with a motorsport look for his X3M. The staggered 20/18 setup was built around his brake package and drag-radial target.
Getting the offset right on an M car takes more than picking a size off a chart. We measured, calculated and machined to fit flush.
EVs are heavy and instant-torque. This MF912 setup was built around the Sealion 7’s 5x120 geometry, comfort tyre package and EV load requirements.
This MINI story covers years of use across daily driving, Malaysia highway runs and occasional Sepang track time — including the REX-06 impact-survival case.
An M5 Competition has wide track, big brakes and serious kerb weight. The CSF1 V3 route keeps the fitment clean without spacer-based guesswork.
The designs customers return to. Clean spoke architecture, proven proportions, strong visual depth. Final sizing, finish, and brake clearance are specified to your car — not guessed.

Strong stance, clean face. Good for concave builds where you want the depth to do the talking.

A forged blank gives LFI more strength to work with before machining begins. FEA then shows where material can be removed safely and where it must stay: hub, spoke roots, barrel and bead seat each carry a different load case.
| Question | What matters | LFI direction |
|---|---|---|
| Forged vs cast wheels | A forged wheel is usually about 25% lighter and 25% stronger than a comparable cast wheel in a similar design and specification. | Use forged construction when weight reduction, sharper response and vehicle-specific strength matter more than lowest upfront cost. |
| Spacers vs custom offset | Spacers add hardware and unsprung mass while moving the wheel load path away from the hub. | Machine offset and brake clearance into the forged wheel wherever possible, so the stance is built into the specification. |
| EV load rating considerations | EVs carry more mass and instant torque, so load rating, brake clearance, tyre pairing and wheel weight need to be reviewed together. | Confirm the vehicle weight, intended tyre, axle load target and use case before choosing an EV forged wheel family. |
You choose the direction. We handle the fitment calculation, FEA, render approval, and production. Once we have the measurements, most builds need one or two conversations.
Choose the design family that suits the car. Multi-spoke, split-spoke, deep dish — we'll help narrow it down if you're unsure.
Send us your brake caliper details, current wheel size and target look. We calculate the width, offset and clearance — you approve the numbers.
Brushed, polished, painted or powder coat. Most people change their mind once during this step. That's normal — take your time.
We show you what the finished wheel looks like on your car before anything gets cut. FEA runs in parallel. Nothing goes to production without your approval.
Forged, machined, finished and checked. Lead time is typically 6–8 weeks depending on finish. We'll keep you updated.
LFI Founder Kevin came from precision manufacturing — components for Rolls Royce, the SAF, Sennheiser, and Razer. Industries where tolerances are measured in microns and structural failure isn't an option.
LFI was founded between track sessions, when he realised the aftermarket wheel market needed the same factory-floor discipline he was applying to aerospace and defence. It still does.
Platform-first engineering
Width, offset, brake clearance, centre bore, tyre sizing and load target are considered together before production. The wheel is built around the car, not forced onto it later.
Weight removed with purpose
Lightweight only matters when strength stays in the right places. LFI uses engineering-led mass reduction to cut unnecessary material without weakening the areas that carry real load.
No spacer-based guesswork
Offset and brake clearance are machined into the wheel from the start whenever possible. Cleaner fitment, less unsprung mass and fewer extra interfaces between the hub and wheel.
Real Google reviews from real customers. Unedited. Unsolicited. The themes customers return to — measured fitment, proper advice and wheels that feel different on the road — are what LFI is built on.
I reached out to LFI for a set of wheels for my BMW X3M. I was looking for a clean motorsport look with an ultimate goal of lightweight. After some back and forth I landed on a set of TRS01 in a 20"/18" combo. Delivery took roughly 7.5 weeks from the date of my order and everything arrived sound.
Fantastic designs, even greater people behind the company. Kevin and Joshua are amazing people who give really good advice on the looks, cuts, sizing and offsets. They are good with how to build the best mechanically appropriate rims for your car.
Fantastic designs, quality, and delivery time. This is the second set of custom rims I've made with them and the results are awesome both times. The fitment is always perfect. So, no need for spacers.
Great experience with LFI. They thoroughly adviced me on the design and got me my wheels right before CNY. With the new wheels, I do feel a noticeable improvement on the suspension feel and handling. 20" rims definitely gets you decent weight savings ~5kg per wheel.
Engaged LFI to upgrade the rims for my new Deepal S07 and the guys were really patient in helping me choose a design. I wanted to maximise the offset for concave rims, so Josh came down to the showroom to do measurement to get the best effect.

Yes. EV fitment demands proper load rating, offset accuracy, and brake clearance — all of which matter more on a heavy, high-torque car. Tesla, BYD, Deepal, and more are in our build records.
Typically 3–5 kg per corner, depending on wheel size and the comparison baseline. The saving comes from forged material strength and careful machining, and LFI provides a specific estimate for your selected size before you order.
A spacer can be useful in some situations, but it is not the cleanest way to specify a made-to-order wheel. LFI prefers to machine the required offset and brake clearance into the wheel so the hub interface, bearing load path and final stance are considered together.
Vehicle-specific FEA runs on every design before production. Selected specifications are independently tested under TÜV SÜD lab reporting. Full methodology on the FEA and compliance pages.
Send us your car, current wheel and tyre size, brake setup, and the look you're after. A photo of the car helps. We respond with a direction within a day or two.
Tell us the car, the brake setup, and what you want to achieve. We work out the rest. Most builds take one or two conversations before a spec sheet is ready.
