Custom forged wheel ordering Singapore

How to orderLFI forged wheels

A five-step custom wheel process covering design direction, fitment mapping, finish approval, FEA validation, production, QC and delivery.

Quick answer: Ordering LFI forged wheels is approval-led. The five steps are: design direction, fitment mapping, finish and deposit, 3D render and FEA approval, then production and delivery. Most builds take 6-8 weeks after final sign-off. The process works the same for Singapore showroom visits and remote international orders.

Ordering LFI wheels is approval-led. We start with the vehicle and design direction, map the fitment around brakes and stance, confirm the finish and proposal, then show the render and validation route before machining. Typical custom build timing is about 6-8 weeks after final approval.

Order roadmap

Five stepsfrom direction to delivery

The same five stages are used for Singapore showroom orders and remote international orders. The difference is only how measurements, photos and finish approvals are shared.

Step 1 - choose a forged wheel design direction
Step 1

Choose the direction

Tell us the car, use case and look. We narrow the design family and stance direction before numbers are locked.

Step 2 - custom wheel fitment mapping
Step 2

Confirm the fitment

Brake clearance, tyre target, width, offset, PCD and centre bore are reviewed around the car.

Step 3 - custom wheel finish selection
Step 3

Lock finish & deposit

Finish, proposal and timeline are confirmed. The 50% deposit secures the build slot.

Step 4 - render approval and FEA validation
Step 4

Approve render & FEA

You approve the render, specification and engineering validation route before production.

Step 5 - completed forged wheels ready for QC and delivery
Step 5

Build, QC & deliver

Forged, machined, finished, checked and packed for collection, local delivery or export.

Detailed process

Every decisionbefore machining

1

Design Direction & Consultation

The process starts with the car and the goal. Tell us the platform, brake package, intended use, target stance and the wheel design direction you are drawn to.

  • Wheel family, spoke style, concavity or lip target are discussed.
  • Singapore clients can visit Playfair Road; remote clients can work by WhatsApp with photos and measurements.
2

Fitment Mapping & Specification

Once the direction is clear, LFI turns the idea into a wheel specification that fits the vehicle correctly.

  • Brake clearance, wheel wells, current wheel and tyre size, diameter, width, offset, PCD and centre bore are reviewed.
  • Where the platform allows, stance and brake clearance are machined into the wheel rather than corrected later with spacers.
3

Finish, Proposal & Deposit

With the technical specification agreed, the visual finish and commercial proposal are confirmed before the project moves into engineering.

  • Choose brushed, polished, painted, powder coat, two-tone or other bespoke finish options.
  • The proposal records the wheel specification, finish direction, pricing and estimated timeline.
  • A 50% initial deposit secures your build and moves it into render and validation.
4

3D Rendering, FEA & Final Approval

Before a single block of alloy is cut, the wheel is reviewed visually and structurally.

  • A 3D render confirms the face, concave profile, finish direction and overall look.
  • FEA simulation reviews the vehicle weight, load case and intended use.
  • Nothing goes to production until render, specification and validation route are approved.
5

Manufacturing, QC & Delivery

After final approval, production begins at the wholly LFI-owned manufacturing facility. Typical custom build timing is about 6-8 weeks after final approval.

  • 6061-T6 forged aluminum, or forged magnesium where specified, is machined on multi-axis CNC mills.
  • The selected finish is applied, then every wheel goes through balancing, inspection and quality checks.
  • Singapore clients can collect or arrange local delivery; international clients can use tracked shipping and DDP options where available.

Ordering FAQ

Ordering questionsanswered clearly

What information should I send before ordering?

Send your vehicle model, brake package, current wheel and tyre size, target stance, preferred wheel style, finish direction and intended use. Clear photos of the car and brake setup help LFI begin the fitment review.

Can I order without visiting the Singapore showroom?

Yes. Singapore clients can visit the Playfair Road showroom to review finishes and discuss fitment in person, but overseas and remote orders can be completed through WhatsApp using photos, measurements, render approval and written specification confirmation.

When is the 50% deposit paid?

The 50% initial deposit is paid after the wheel specification, finish direction, pricing and estimated timeline are agreed. That deposit secures the build slot and moves the project into render and engineering validation.

Do I approve the render before machining starts?

Yes. LFI confirms the 3D render, fitment specification and validation route before machining. Production does not begin until the key approvals are complete.

How long does a custom forged wheel build take?

Typical custom build timing is about 6-8 weeks after final approval, depending on design complexity, finish choice, production queue and shipping route.

What happens before final delivery or collection?

The wheels are forged, machined, finished, inspected, balanced and packed. The final balance is collected before showroom collection, local delivery or international shipping.

Do international orders include duties and taxes?

LFI offers tracked international shipping and Delivered Duty Paid options where available. Exact duty, tax and freight handling depends on the destination and shipping route confirmed for the order.

Can LFI help choose the safest fitment?

Yes. LFI reviews brake clearance, width, offset, centre bore, PCD, tyre target and intended use together so the wheel is specified around the car rather than corrected later with guesswork.
