LFI Deep Dish Series

Deep Dish Forged Wheels

Deep dish forged wheels need more than a wide lip. Offset, barrel depth, brake clearance, tyre shoulder and body clearance must be solved together so the wheel looks deliberate instead of compromised.

This collection is for builds where the lip is part of the identity: classic cars, restomods, wide-body projects, VIP-style sedans, selected SUVs and show-focused performance cars. The goal is depth with control, not just the biggest outer lip that can be forced into the arch.

Start here when you want step-lip or deep-lip visual language, 2-piece or 3-piece character, custom widths, polished lips, colour separation and a fitment that is confirmed before production.

01

Deep lip identity

Built for visible outer lip depth, step-lip character and classic forged stance.

02

Offset drives the dish

Lip depth depends on offset, width, brake clearance and how much body room the car gives us.

03

2-piece / 3-piece look

Ideal when the build needs finish separation, polished lips and a more mechanical wheel presence.

04

Fitment first

Brake package, tyre shoulder, fender line and ride height are checked before the lip target is locked.

Deep Dish Platforms

Cars That Carry A Lip

Deep dish works best when the car has the width, offset window and body shape to make the lip look intentional. We check the platform before chasing lip depth.

Classic

GT40, classic and restomod builds

Deep lip forged wheels suit classic proportions when PCD, hub style, offset and brake clearance are solved correctly.

Wide-body

Wide arches and show builds

Extra body width gives the wheel more room for lip depth, tyre shoulder and a stronger outer stance.

Luxury

VIP sedans and premium cruisers

Deep dish gives heavier luxury builds a more grounded, tailored visual direction.

SUV

Selected SUV and crossover builds

Larger bodies can carry lip depth, but wheel load and tyre index need proper checking.

Stance and street builds

Deep dish works when ride height, tyre size, fender clearance and offset are planned as one package.

Custom

Unusual PCD and one-off cars

Send measurements, current wheel data and brake information. Deep dish often rewards proper custom planning.

Buying Guide

How Deep Should The Dish Be?

Choose the lip direction first, then validate the fitment. A deep dish wheel only works when the brake package, tyre and body line still agree with the look.

Dish goal Recommended direction Best fit LFI note

Clean deep lip

Visible lip depth with a balanced daily or luxury stance.

Premium sedans, coupes and selected SUVs.

Good when you want dish without making the car look overdone.

Step-lip character

Classic motorsport or restomod look with stronger rim detail.

Classic cars, GT40-style builds, restomods and show cars.

Best when the wheel should feel mechanical and period-aware.

Maximum lip depth

Prioritise the deepest practical outer lip the car can carry.

Wide-body, low-offset and stance-led applications.

Only works if brake clearance and tyre shoulder still make sense.

Finish separation

Use polished lips, coloured centres and hardware-style detail.

Luxury, classic, VIP and show-focused builds.

The lip, centre and barrel should look like one planned system.

Fitment Logic

Why Deep Dish Needs Planning

Lip depth is geometry. A deeper dish changes the relationship between barrel, centre, brake package, offset, tyre shoulder and fender clearance. The wheel has to be built around the car, not just the desired photo.

Offset

Offset creates the lip window

Lower offset and wider wheels can create more dish, but they also affect poke, clearance and steering room.

Brake

Brake clearance can reduce dish

Large calipers may require more centre or spoke clearance, which changes how much outer lip is practical.

Tyre

Tyre shoulder decides the stance

The tyre has to support the car and sit correctly against the lip, not just stretch into the arch.

Result

Depth without compromise

The best deep dish build looks deliberate: enough lip to carry the car, enough clearance to use it.

Deep Dish FAQ

Deep Dish Forged Wheels FAQ

Quick answers for LFI's deep-lip forged wheel collection.

What decides how deep the dish can be?

Wheel width, offset, barrel depth, brake clearance, tyre shoulder, ride height and fender space all decide how much lip the final wheel can carry.

Are deep dish wheels always 2-piece or 3-piece?

Not always, but deep dish styling often borrows 2-piece or 3-piece visual language because separate lip, centre and barrel areas make the depth easier to read.

Can big brakes reduce lip depth?

Yes. Large calipers can require more room behind the face, which may reduce how deep the outer lip can be while still clearing the brake package.

Can LFI build deep dish wheels for classic or unusual cars?

Yes. LFI can plan custom PCD, centre bore, offset, lip depth and brake clearance for classic, restomod and unusual platforms when enough vehicle data is provided.

Can international customers order deep dish forged wheels?

Yes. Singapore customers can visit LFI in person, while USA and worldwide deep dish builds can be planned remotely using photos, current wheel data, brake details and target tyre sizes.
