Anti-Slip Knurled Beads

Knurled beads are a small but serious performance detail machined into the inner bead seat of the wheel. They help the tire stay locked against the rim when the car is under hard acceleration, braking, cornering, track use, or low-pressure off-road load.

What It Does

Under heavy load, a tire can rotate slightly on the wheel before the car itself moves. That tiny slip can affect balance, alignment marks, steering feel, and consistency during repeated hard launches or cornering.

Anti-slip knurling adds a controlled machined texture to the bead-seat area, increasing mechanical bite between the tire bead and wheel barrel without changing the visible exterior design.

Why It Matters

On high-grip tires, heavy EVs, track cars, drag-focused setups, and aggressive road builds, bead movement can become a real-world issue. Knurled beads help keep the tire seated more securely so the wheel-and-tire package behaves more predictably.

It is not a cosmetic option. It is a functional detail for drivers who care about repeatability under load.
