Deepest forging blank
More material at the spoke root and barrel transition where bending moment concentrates.
The highest-capacity EV wheel LFI builds. REX-12 is for electric SUVs, performance EVs over 2500 kg, and any electric platform where axle loads demand the deepest forging blank and the widest spoke-root section in the REX EV line.

REX-12 answers the heaviest EVs on the road. Electric SUVs over 2,500 kg. Performance EV sedans with big battery packs and dual motors. Any electric platform where the axle load alone rules out a standard forged wheel design.
REX-12 uses the deepest forging blank in the LFI programme. The spoke-to-hub transition is the widest. The bolt-circle reinforcement is the largest. Everything is scaled up - and confirmed per vehicle.
A blanket "rated to X kg" is not enough. The number only matters in context of the actual car. Every REX-12 set is reviewed against the specific EV's axle load, tyre load index, intended use and local road conditions.
For mid-weight and performance EVs under 2,500 kg - REX-08 and REX-10 provide the right balance of load capacity and mass for those platforms.

The bolt-circle area is reinforced around clamp load, drive torque and regenerative braking torque.

REX-12 EV is a strong pick for EVs with upgraded tires, lowered suspension, or a more aggressive stance target. The design carries larger diameters well. The current table spans roughly 8.8 to 17.4 kg depending on size, so smaller fitments favor response while larger fitments add stance and load reserve.
This technical EV performance wheel is ordered around EV curb weight, instant torque, tire load, brake clearance, offset target, and daily comfort so the wheel suits the way the car is actually driven.
Good for Tesla, BYD, BMW i4/iX, Audi e-tron, Mercedes EQ, and tuned electric daily drivers.
These REX-12 product views show the Electric Series spoke shape, brake-window layout and EV-ready visual mass. Final width, offset, center bore, load rating, finish and concavity are confirmed around your car before production.
REX-12 is shaped for modern EV bodies where the wheel needs enough visual structure for a larger sedan, crossover, or SUV while keeping the precision of a custom forged monoblock.
LFI checks brake clearance, hub-centric machining, axle load, tire load index, offset, width, and finish before machining instead of treating EV fitment like a generic catalogue size.

NEEDS DATA: REX-12 approximate weights below. REX-12 uses the deepest forging blank in the LFI programme to handle EV axle loads exceeding 1,200 kg. Mass is higher than REX-08 and REX-10 at equivalent sizes - this is the structural trade-off for maximum load capacity. Final weight confirmed per vehicle specification.

LFI concave profiles are built around the relationship between wheel width, offset, diameter, brake clearance, load rating, and forging depth. The goal is simple: push the face as deep as the car allows, without compromising EV fitment, caliper clearance, or structural integrity.
The Maximum Concave Face option is available for selected LFI forged wheel designs. Depending on wheel width and offset, the face profile can be tuned from mild concave to a much deeper spoke drop.
Wider wheels and lower offsets generally allow stronger concavity. For EV builds, LFI also checks axle load, tire load index, brake envelope, and range or comfort goals before recommending an aggressive face.
Concavity is not selected by diameter alone. The final face depth is calculated from the full fitment package: rim width, offset, brake clearance, vehicle platform, load rating, and the chosen forged wheel design.

Some high-offset vehicles do not naturally allow a deep spoke profile because the wheel face must sit further outward to clear the hub and brake package. For these applications, LFI can offer a specialized heavy-duty blank option that creates a more pronounced concave look while keeping the fitment usable.
This is especially useful for EV sedans and crossovers where the customer wants a stronger visual stance but still needs proper inner clearance, brake clearance, tire load, and road-use reliability.
Deep concavity must be balanced against caliper clearance, suspension clearance, fender position, tire width, axle load, and the actual offset range the vehicle can accept. The most aggressive face is not always the best face for every car.
LFI will always prioritize a correct forged-wheel fitment over forcing a face profile that creates clearance problems.
The deep concave forging concept shown below demonstrates how a pronounced face profile can be achieved even on a relatively high-offset fitment, using a 19x8.5J ET42 reference example.

Knurled bead seats can help reduce tire movement on higher-torque applications, including heavy EVs and sticky tire setups. LFI can quote this where the use case justifies it.
Reinforcement ribs can add barrel rigidity where the final specification, road conditions, tire package, or vehicle weight calls for extra reserve.
LFI plans each REX-12 set from Singapore around the car's brake package, tyre target, ride height, offset window, load target, centre bore and finish direction.
