CSF1 19x9 ET29 was tested to JWL Aug. 2014 Test Conditions for Light Alloy Road Wheels for Passenger Car at a stated 690 kg wheel load rating.
Five Y-spokes. I-beam sections. Frontal pocketing that cuts weight, not structure. CSF1 V3 is a 6061-T6 monoblock forged wheel that does road, track, supercar and heavy EV duty, specified to your car's brakes, tyres and load target.
CSF1 V3 takes the five-spoke template and builds it properly. I-beam spoke sections. Raised rails. Face-side pockets that pull mass out of the spoke surface without touching the load path. It looks clean because the engineering is clean.
The five Y-shaped spoke pairs give the wheel a timeless motorsport face, broad brake visibility and a stance that works on compact cars, performance sedans, supercars and EVs.
Raised rails and a centre rib form an I-beam section. Material sits at the edges where it resists bending. The middle does less work, so we pocket it out.
Face-side pockets pull shallow mass out of the spoke. The load path stays intact. The wheel does not get fragile.
The spokes are not flat. Each Y-arm has a raised outer rail and a central spine, forming an I-beam section. Material at the edges resists bending. The middle gets pocketed.
The frontal pockets do the reverse: they pull mass from the spoke face, open up the brake windows, and leave the hub-to-rim load path alone.
Same architecture, different jobs. Light enough for a MINI or GR86. Strong enough for a track-prepped M3 when the load target is dialled up. Big enough for supercar and EV builds where brake clearance and mass both run high.
Final strength and mass depend on your car's diameter, width, offset, brake clearance, load target and tyre choice. CSF1 V3 starts with the architecture; we confirm the numbers around your vehicle.

A five-spoke is only the starting point. CSF1 V3 earns the look with I-beam sections, face-side pocketing and fitment drawn around the car, not a catalogue.
| Decision area | Typical aftermarket approach | CSF1 V3 direction |
|---|---|---|
| Design intent | Often selected for a lightweight look or a catalogue fitment that broadly clears the car. | CSF1 V3 is a classic 5Y Performance Series wheel: super-lightweight, strong, open around the brakes and drawn around the vehicle. |
| Spoke architecture | May use flat or thin visual spokes that look light but do not clearly show where the load path lives. | I-beam spoke sections, raised side rails and a central rib put material at the edges where it resists bending. |
| Weight reduction | Some wheels chase weight by visually thinning the whole spoke or removing material broadly. | Frontal pocketing removes shallow face mass while the main spoke path, hub transition and rim connection remain purposeful. |
| Brake and tyre package | Generic offsets can need spacer correction when caliper clearance, face profile and tyre position do not line up. | Width, offset, centre bore, caliper envelope, spoke profile, tyre support and load target are planned together before machining. |
| Best use case | Style-led road builds or broad aftermarket replacements where the wheel is mostly a visual upgrade. | Road, fast-road, track, supercar and EV builds where low mass, strength, brake clearance and exact fitment all matter. |
Fitment by application.
| Area | CSF1 V3 direction | Engineering note |
|---|---|---|
| Road and fast-road | Clean stance, practical tire support, hub-centric machining and brake clearance | Recommended when response, lower unsprung mass and repeatable road manners matter. |
| Track-minded builds | Load target review, optional knurled beads, optional annular ribs and tire slip control | Useful for sticky tires, hard braking, circuit use and repeated heat cycles. |
| Supercar builds | Large brake envelope, wide tire support, concavity and face-depth control | CSF1 V3 can scale into high-performance applications when brake and load data are confirmed. |
| EV and high-load road cars | Higher vehicle mass, load reserve, tire package and road-impact margin | Use the final load target rather than diameter alone to confirm the wheel specification. |
| Brake clearance | Supports large brake systems, including 380 mm and 400 mm setups | Final spoke profile, barrel clearance and balancing-weight space are checked against the actual caliper template. |
| TPMS transfer | OEM TPMS compatible | The final valve seat and sensor clearance are reviewed so factory TPMS sensors can be transferred where the vehicle system supports it. |
| Brake clearance method | Caliper envelope, spoke profile, backpad and barrel clearance review | The target is to machine the wheel around the car instead of relying on spacer correction. |
| Concavity method | Width, offset, brake package and forging blank dependent | Concavity is balanced against caliper clearance, tire position and structural reserve. |

What LFI customers say.
I reached out to LFI for a set of wheels for my BMW X3M. I was looking for a clean motorsport look with an ultimate goal of lightweight. After some back and forth I landed on a set of TRS01 in a 20"/18" combo. Delivery took roughly 7.5 weeks from the date of my order and everything arrived sound.
Google reviewFantastic designs, even greater people behind the company. Kevin and Joshua are amazing people who give really good advice on the looks, cuts, sizing and offsets. They are good with how to build the best mechanically appropriate rims for your car.
Google reviewFantastic designs, quality, and delivery time. This is the second set of custom rims I've made with them and the results are awesome both times. The fitment is always perfect. So, no need for spacers.
